Guilty or Innocent? The Trial of Sacco & Vanzetti
The Evidence Against Sacco & Vanzetti
Seven eyewitnesses said that they saw Sacco at the scene of the crime. Sacco was accused of the Braintree hold up using a .32 Colt automatic while Sacco’s gun was just a regular Colt. One piece of evidence is that a hat similar to the one worn by Sacco was found at the site of the murder. Both Sacco and Vanzetti lied about each others whereabouts during the scene of the crime. Vanzetti lied about his gun. One of the witnesses stated only that he saw an Italian man shoot the pay clerk.
